			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OK, so Palm split into a hardware company (<a href="http://www.palmone.com/">PalmOne</a>) and a software company (<a href="http://www.palmsource.com/">PalmSource</a>).  Earlier this year PalmSource announced they were <a href="http://www.palminfocenter.com/view_story.asp?ID=6547">dropping Macintosh support</a>. (OK, technically they just said &#8220;let someone else do it,&#8221; but that still means Mac users have to hunt around &#8212; and probably pay extra &#8212; for features that used to be built in.)
