I was a little surprised, but then I saw the “Made in Hawaii” plate holder and realized they were talking about the lunch meat.

Beware Mountain Lion (Peters Canyon Hike)

A couple of weeks ago I just had to get out of the house for an afternoon and found myself at the entrance to Peters Canyon Park. The last time I’d been there, the park was closed due to recent rains. This time, it was open.

Several trails run from the entrance around the edge of the park, and one goes inward to an area that’s currently closed off. Because…well…take a look:

For Cooking Big Green Ham

I saw the “Big Green Egg” sign from across the freeway and immediately thought, “Do they have big green ham, too?”

Of course, since the Big Green Egg is a barbecue, if you find some big green ham, it’s the perfect way to cook it!
