[...] WonderCon (February 27–March 1, 2009; San Francisco, California). Definitely. My wife and I went last year and enjoyed it, and combined it with a trip to visit friends and family in the Bay Area. What with the money crunch we were going to skip it this year, but we were planning to make another trip up to visit people…and discovered that the perfect time to do so would be the week leading up to WonderCon. If we’re going to be in the area anyway, membership is pretty cheap at $12/person for a one-day pass. (See also: 2008 WonderCon report.) [...]

I found your posting on somones website in reference to the street name changes which occured in Irvine/Tustin area of Orange County, CA back in the day, probably before my birth.
I am looking to find out about a few streets in the area where you were referencing and was wondering if you could help me.

Thanks,

That has got to be the most random suggestion I have seen. Props for actually reading the post, even though it's clear you don't understand scifi/comic convention culture. Maybe 1% of congoers would be willing to wear a uniform shirt instead of one promoting their chosen fandom (or a costume).

And then there's the expense of the shirts, which will raise the cost of admission. And let's not forget shipping. It's a lot cheaper to mail out a slip of paper or thin cardboard -- and even cheaper than that to let the attendees themselves print out the ticket when they order online.

When you went to the Moscone Center an idea for the Stormtrooper waving people along would be for him to scan a barcode printed right on the persons shirt. Then there is no need for the tags collected in the box.

Hi Kelson, love your Flash site, it's been a great help for getting into the mythos!

Anyway, the characters in photo #10 of your gallery are Lady Deathstrike and Archangel from X-Men comics.
