Politicians in Washington
April 24th, 2007 by Kelson. Posted in Politics, You Must be Mistaken and tagged for definitions, GWB, Humor, PoliticsYesterday, President Bush reportedly said, “Politicians in Washington shouldn’t be telling generals how to do their job.”
I guess he’d better recuse himself from any further military decisions for the rest of his term. Commander in Chief or not, the President of the United States is a politician in Washington.
Hmm, maybe he can give orders while traveling?

I thought the same thing the moment I heard that clip on NPR, yesterday evening. I couldn’t wait to mention it to my girlfriend.
I kept thinking how awesome (and very unlikely) it would’ve been if a reporter had had the guts to question Bush about that.
