Always proofread carfully

School marquee: Cloced for repairs (Call for help)

Believe it or not, this is on the front of an elementary school!

It kind of reminds me of the “They’re just putting the S in principal” story.

We’ve driven past this sign several times since then, and yesterday we noticed they had corrected the typo. Of course, it still says “Call for help…”

Did you include an error in your title purposefully? Seems backwards to spell “carefully” incorrectly while preaching to proofread your work.
Not sure if it was done intentionally as an element of humor-?

Yes. It’s a reference to Fumblerules, specifically, “Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.” That seemed a bit long for a title, though.
