It took me a second to realize you were talking about version 5 of a program called Babylon, and not the TV show Babylon 5. It makes a lot more sense now.

Babylon 5 dictionary's OCR doesn't work with opera 10 (works fine with nine), i.e. I can't use Babylon to translate words from Opera anymore :(

That's strange, because on my systems (both Windows and Linux), it does automatically focus the address bar when I open a new tab.

Overall I'm liking Opera but there is one thing that is killing me: when opening a new blank tab/window the address bar is not automatically in focus. I'm so use to typing an address as soon as I open a new tab, having to navigate to the address bar sounds like a small thing, but it adds up!

I think Opera Unite is appropriate. Indeed, serving and browsing appears out-of-place. But when mixed together the way Opera Unite does, it fills a niche concept that Opera excels at, giving power to the user.

Bloat is not true. Opera has an uncanny ability to be unobtrusive with it's extra features until you want to use them, without hindering performance.

I'm glad they didn't include Unite in the final release. I don't think this is something that should be in a web browser. I don't need more bloat!

Whoops. That's the trouble with TLAs. They're too easy to mix up.

And I could have sworn that at least one of the betas included Unite, but I was using the snapshots so much I guess I just didn't notice.

Fixed.

That would be Opera's CTO not CEO.

Opera Unite was not introduced in the Opera 10 betas, only included in snapshots and a labs release. Opera Unite is planned for Opera 10.10
