Recently I reset my Gnome profile, which broke Twhirl. It just would not save settings, no matter what I did in the app itself. This included things like which accounts to open on launch, saved passwords, window locations, etc.
Finally I deleted the entire ~/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/ELS/ folder. I had to re-configure Twhirl from the ground up, but at least it worked!
