Back to WP-Mobile

I’m really impressed with the new version of WordPress Mobile Edition. It handles both the low-end and high-end (iPhone, Android) devices cleanly and efficiently. I was using a three-tiered setup with WP-Mobile for basic phones, WPTouch for iPhone and Android devices, and of course the regular theme for desktops, but it seems simpler to drop WPTouch for now. #

There’s something odd about this offer for magazine subscriptions.

Magazine offers: Maxim, Cosmopolitan, Playboy, Newsweek...exclusively for students and educators

They just don’t seem like a good fit for a student and teacher discount. Newsweek maybe, but…Maxim? Cosmo? Playboy?

Shopaholic Mall Cop

Somehow, I don’t think that being a mall cop is a good choice for a self-confessed shopaholic.

Also, “Coraline: Just Not That Into You” has a faintly amusing ring to it.

Speaking of Coraline, I’m pleasantly surprised to see that not only is it still in a lot of nearby theaters after ~6 weeks, it’s still out in 3-D in a lot of theaters. I may have to take advantage of that fact at some point…
