We saw Beowulf in 3D, this morning. I’d say my reaction mirrored yours except that I enjoyed 300 more.

I’m a sucker for 3D effects and I hope/anticipate that this is the future of television- and movie-watching. For the time-being, if it’s in 3D, I’ll go see it. That includes the 3D previews they played before the feature.

The same place that had the IMAX 3D version also had a regular-screen 3D version, so I know there’s one out there. Here’s hoping it makes its way over to your area.

On the errors you were getting, was that earlier today, or yesterday? The reason I ask is that the server was down yesterday, and the backup system wasn’t quite configured the same. So if it was yesterday, that’s probably why. If it’s today, I’ll have to go hunting through the logs to figure out what’s going on.

I’m only interested in seeing it if the 3D version is available here. Since The Nightmare Before Christmas was in 3D here, I’m optimistic about Beowulf.

I’m a mark for almost anything in 3D.

(Btw, I dunno if it’s worth mentioning, but the last couple of times I clicked my link to your blog, I received an error (sorry I didn’t record it), then refreshed and the page loaded successfully.

Since you do so much tweaking, I thought this might be good info.)
