We usually get the movie pass from Blockbuster sometime throughout the year. Not every month.. but at least a few. I usually find most of what I’m looking for but you are dead on– not everything I’m wanting. We have a smaller store here that has quite a bit bigger selection of the oldest.

Now… if only this town had the local video store from my old college town. It had old episodes of tv series I loved as a kid- Jem & the Holograms, She-ra, Thundercats etc… Not to mention so many old style family feel-good movies.

I work at a small videostore, and usually asking the clerks where something is, they can find it for you no matter what. Most of us view it as a challenge. And Skulls III is nowhere near as good as Cruel Intentions III. Sorry.

Oddly enough, I found myself thinking about the poster for “Deuce Bigalow II” recently, at a UCI production of “Kiss Me, Kate.” One of the verses in the song “Where Is the Life That Late I Led?” runs something like:
Where are you Lisa?
My pretty Lisa?
You gave new meaning
To the Leaning Tower of Pisa!
The actor’s pose was rather like that of “Deuce” — and the rest was left to our imaginations!
