The Teen Titans series is definitely a new take on an old idea. The Young Justice team as the successors to the Titans mantle is an idea long in coming I would say. Since Titans' roots were from the next generation, the third generation taking the title is almost a given. ;p I liked it though I didn't like the fact Kon-El (Superboy) had to be a mild mannered glasses-wearing Connor to Superman's Clark. I had enjoyed Superboy because he was younger and different (more open) than Superman and his original adventures in Hawaii really stood out as a fresh look for the S just as Supergirl's supernatural travails pointed the S in another fresh direction. Ah, well. I'm looking forward to what Wonder Girl will have to do to gain approval from the Amazons. And the original team members of Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire (and Raven too, huh? ;p) could have potential to liven up the mix. I myself loved Dan Jurgens run so I wouldn't mind seeing Omen or even Prysm make an appearance but that may be wishing for much at least in the beginning. ;>

And I'm not too surprised about Outsiders. Judd Winick wrote the first run of Exiles for Marvel and you should read the banter between Morph and the other team members. Really brought a smile to my face. :) So I actually almost bought the first issue especially with Tom Raney pencils (he has gotten very good in the past few years). But finally decided not to. Kelson, your review just gave me new interest. Mind if I read them sometime? Reassesment time. ;p

BTW Fables has got me hooked. I'm definitely buying each trade as they come out. Such originality and twists on our fairy tale lore is to read to believe and I fully enjoy it. ;>
