Perfect Silver

A face as lovely as fair can be
A smile as bright as the shining sea
Perfection written in every line
And the power to render you blind
She wants herself as your only light
She waits for you in your dreams at night
With a will to bend you and make you fall
And a need for the leader of all

Perfect silver behind the eyes that drown you slowly
Be prepared to lose your pride
Or you may want to hide from the
Perfect silver that tells you perfect lies
Perfect silver mirroring her eyes

A heart remembering from long ago
Awakening to what none could know
When power waits in her very hands
All she offers is love and demands
The love is gone that was there before
But now she wants it and so much more
She wants everything that your heart can hold
And the eyes shining bright are so cold

Perfect silver upon the white that dazzles senses
Give your heart and sell your soul
If you once lose control to the
Perfect silver, so perfect to disguise
Perfect silver mirroring her eyes

Fire and ivory flash in the air
With a light as bright as the sun
And then when you dare to open your eyes
You look to find her gone

And now you see her when she's not there
A flash of moonlight on midnight hair
She lives somewhere in between your dreams
And there's nothing you see that is what it seems
You want so much just to let her go
And with each heartbeat you seem to know
That for all the things that you said you knew
She could still put her power on you

Perfect silver, a memory that haunts and lingers
Living only in your mind
But still you seem to find that the
Perfect silver stays bright and never dies
Perfect silver mirroring her eyes
