Delivering Diani

The verdict came down
And they started packing
They left before the sun came up next day
With a princess' gold and blessing for their backing
Where were they going when they were just getting away?
Ashhak was a bard, Celidarin a student
And Akurei just dropped out of the sky
Diani was a princess who knew magic
And Prak joined the party when Grell left without a goodbye.
Anyone can see the road that they walk on is hard and long
At every turn something else will go wrong
Monsters are chasing them, hunting them down night and day
You can see the shadows wandering out in the dark
Weird oozy creatures and strange things that bark
They're out on the highway, adventuring there today, today..
They went to a town and took care of some traitors
And killed a big white dragon in its cave
They trashed some elementals and some raiders
And Diani got home and her kingdom was finally saved.
Anyone can see the road that they traveled was hard and long
You gotta be cool and you gotta be strong
Waste all the goblins and dragons that stand in your way
And you know they're probably wandering off somewhere
Can't go back home 'cause it's prob'ly not there
They're out on the highway, adventuring there today, today.....
